SEtting up an Appointment

I appreciate your interest in arranging a therapy appointment. Please get in touch with me at 907-244-0879 or email me at [email protected]. I can respond to any questions or concerns you may have regarding the therapy process as well as arrange your first appointment. As email is not a secure form of communication, please keep emails focused on basic questions about my practice or scheduling appointments.

Intake appointments are generally 70 - 90 minutes long. During this time I can get to know you and you can determine whether you feel you would like to work with me.  Intakes are focused on gathering background information,  understanding your current situation and identifying goals for therapy. Subsequent regular appointments are 45 - 60 minutes.

Billing & INsurance

 I am a preferred provider with Blue Cross Blue Shield and am also a provider for the Lyra EAP program. I am able to bill most other insurance companies; however reimbursement rates and out of pocket fees may vary if I am not a preferred provider with your insurance. Please call your insurance company to verify coverage and out of pocket fees. I can assist in this process if necessary. Unfortunately, I am unable to accept Medicaid/Denali Kid Care.

Forms & paperwork

Prior to your first appointment, I will email you an invitation to set up your client portal with Therapy Appointment. After setting up your login and password, please complete all the forms that have been assigned to you, including the Client Self-Biography.  If you are a bringing a child in for therapy, please complete the "Consent to Treat a Minor" form.  Please bring your ID and your insurance card with you to your first appointment. This online portal will be your venue for communicating with me, scheduling appointments and making any necessary payments.
