I was born and raised in rural Alaska and have lived in Anchorage for over 20 years. I graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Human Development and Social Relations. I then attended graduate school at Alaska Pacific University and obtained a Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2006. Following graduate school, I worked in acute care and residential care with preteen and adolescent girls for several years prior to beginning my own practice in 2012. In my leisure time, I enjoy many outdoor pursuits including mountain biking, snow biking, skiing, hiking, backpacking, and gardening.
